what could be wrong with my computer if when i try to download a game, I can hear it but can't see it?

I get this pop up that reads something about texture,does anyone have any ideas how I could fix it?

Most games require an up to date version of directX to play them. Make sure you have version 9.0 on your computer. If not go to microsoft.com to download it for free.

i think you have a problem with the video card
