I live across the pond and had wanted to see this, but unfortunately it was only shown on Channel 4. *sigh* I was only able to read reviews. Could someone toss me some spoilers? Thanks!

well it was based on interviews with his former university cronies. Basically Tony was always on the sidelines of the friends, he probably smoked some cannabis (no-one would actually say that he did!), he played guitar badly and wanted to be liked. He was also a great networker and always wanted to know who was the most important person in the room and he would introduce himself to them. Oh, and he lived in a shabby bedsit for a while and was very untidy.
It wasn't a very good film, but the allusion to drugs was very delicately done. I think that they were trying to say that he smoked a lot of weed, but they would get sued if they did!
