I don't know about your area specifically, but great stay at home ideas are--

Mary Kay representative
Journalist
Scrapbooking representative
I even know some people who are doing medical transcription from home.

I'm a stay-at-home mom, too, but I write for newspapers. It's lots of fun, and helps you stay connected outside the house because you get to call people and talk to 'em all day. Of course, that requires newspaper-specific writing skills, but they're easily picked up if you get an AP style guide.
