They're sad because they couldn't let go of Fred Rogers death. No more Trolly. *sniff* *sniff* No, they dont have EA meetings. They want everyone to know they're miserable like Rosie O'Donnel wants everyone to know she loves the ladies and eating ding-dongs and ho-ho's.

I think some emo kids want to feel everything about their lives, feel it because well, why not, it's the only life you will have and might as well feel a range of emotions as soon you will feel nothing at all.
Some emo kids are depressed.
Some emo kids are just in it for the fashion.
Some emo kids were wearing Abercrombie and Hollister two years ago and now are in it for the fashion and also fake depression....
I tihnk the whole emos cut themselves thing is ridiculous. it was a real problem until they came along. It demonstrates real depression and now kids do it to look cool and angsty.
However, on the developmental aspect of this, kids do have stuff to be "emotional" about, because almost all adolescents go through a phase known as "egocentrism". This phase includes believing that no one understands you, no one has ever been in love like you have, no one has felt your pain, happiness ever, you are invincible etc...it's all because it is actually a phase as people are starting to experiencing all these emotions. Adolescent egocentrism isn't bad, it's just a part of cognitive development. I think emo-ism takes it to the extreme.

each teen is going to be emotional. an emo toddler is a stereotype of a teen who's continuously unhappy, and cuts themself to make the discomfort go away, the in consumer-friendly words distinction between an emo toddler and a goth is that goths nonconformity drives from there anger, and emo childrens nonconformity drives from there thoughts. maximum emo childrens arent even depressed, they use it to get interest. its complicated, basically dont pay interest to ignorant those who choose someone by way of there outfits, bc alot of people label someone as emo bc of how they gown. even as being emo= honestly being emotional.

...and they probably dont have emo anonymous meetings- if they did they wouldnt be emo

Emo kids are stupid little ," I need attention", spoiled brats . Maybe they weren't breast fed or hugged enough , but I think its just something to get attention . They need meetings... with an @ss whoopin' !!!

They like cutting themselves, whining about how horrible life is, and listening to sh*tty music.
It's a horrible trend.
