If Congress would grow some stones and impeach him on the grounds of his wire-tapping being ruled illegal (making it a felony) then, yeah, she has a good shot at the White House.

the president has a incredible volume of power. not in simple terms does he sign costs into regulation, he may additionally elect to do line vetoes, which permits the president to take out the stuff he does not like, and signing statements (i think of that's what they are called) the place the president can upload issues he desires to a bill. formerly president bush, those "rights" of the president (that have been under no circumstances relatively used simply by stability-of-power fears) have been not often exercised. those days, whether, Bush has performed what he can to alter rules he does not like. bush has additionally tried interior the previous to instate pals of his into positions of power interior the government. subsequently our at the instant-democrat-led congress holds those 5-2d training during the holiday trips while congress is formally closed - to avert bush from sneaking a buddy of his right into a efficient place with out congress being there to approve or disapprove of the nominee. so yea, the president has a super form of power. regrettably, meaning Bush has a super form of power even regardless of the incontrovertible fact that he's a lame duck on the 2d and would't do lots pondering his party is interior the minority in congress. with a bit of luck the subsequent president would be somewhat extra careful and not make the administrative branch so efficient simply by fact the final time I checked this could be a central authority for the individuals and with the aid of the individuals. One guy or woman isn't allowed to run the coach; that's what we call a tyranny or monarchy.

Nancy Pelosi is a dyed in the wool liberal and always has been. This situation does not bode well for any Presidential hopes. It may play well in California, but it is death in the Heartland. During Presidential elections it is moderates who ultimately decide the outcome. If Nancy Pelosi were to run her voting record would be deeply scrutinized and would destroy any chances of being elected President.
As to impeachment. The Democrats in the House may bring impeachment, but they lack the votes in the Senate to convict and remove the President from office. Fantasy plain and simple because it is never going to happen.

Impeachment and removal of Bush and Cheney is very unlikely since neither of them were involved in any scandal and neither have committed any illegal acts. I don't know what dingaling liberal TV station has been feeding your mind such trash and bs, but impeachment of Bush and Cheney IS far-fetched - isn't going to happen. Pelosi's just another run-in-the-mouth lying bs liberal jackass. Sorry to burst your liberal bubble there, but Bush and Cheney will be in the WH 'til the end, thank goodness - :D Heaven forbid if Pelosi ever got in the WH! If she did, that would be the beginning of the end - UGH!

It is very far fetched. Think about it, if the House can impeach, then Pelosi will stand to be president if the Senate convicts.
How dirty is that? She will be president if they are convicted and yet she controls whether they are impeached or not?

Pelosi is second in line in succession to the Presidency under U.S. law,I have provided a link to an article.Although Pelosi would not be picked as Vice ,because she is a Democrat if something happens to Cheney. That's how President Ford entered the Vice Presidency, when Agnew resigned because of problems with his income taxes, although he was appointed by Nixon.

They have to be convicted of a felony or high misdemeanor first. Plus even if Bush were impeached Cheney's first order of business would be to appoint a new VP.

Nothing is out of the realm of possibility (not even Congress actually working for the citizens who elect them!) in politics, but I really doubt impeachment hearings will happen.

If both Bush and Cheney are impeached and removed from office, I personally promise to disrobe on Pennsylvania Avenue at high noon while singing "I Wish I Were an Oscar Mayer Wiener."
It ain't gonna happen, Sparky. Sorry for the visual, folks.
