You see them on the cars nowadays - B1G L4D (big lad), etc. Now, in your opinion, are they fun and make you laugh? Or do you think they are really chavvy and show too much money and too little sense?
What are the best and worst ones that you've seen?

Well, I personally think that it's up to the individual as to whether they have their number plates personalised or not. I would not have my name placed on my liscense plate, however. But if the person wishes to do so there is nothing vain about that. Some are funny, whereas others you wonder why they're even allowed to be displayed in public, lol! Overall it is the individual's discretion. I think everyone would agree. I cannot really recall any that would be best or worst. That's about it.

Some of the vanity plates are a waste of money. If there was only a one time charge I would just get my name. I hate that you have to pay every year when you keep the same plates.

I would never spend that amount on a personalised number plate. What a waste of money.

Best one I saw was V8 OUCH on a Maserati.

Worst ones are the ones that obviously are meant to say something but you can't work out what it is - what a waste of money.

I think they speak more to a sense of humor.. many are amusing.. some are of course chav.. and some too verbose to bother deciphering in traffic. I like "JUKEMAN" et al.. and don't like the chavvy "MYJAG" type..

They are an ego trip, but harmless enough, and occasionally entertaining. It's hilarious when one is on a beat-up car.
