The Philippine Islands. And yes I think you are going to need a bit of money to get her to the U.S. You will have to file for her and that usually takes an immigration attorney. Good luck with getting her here in a year. They have rightfully cracked down on things like this.

Have you applied for a fiance visa yet? I'm not sure where PI is but if it's a foreign country you need to get a visa for her before you get married. My son married a girl from India. It is a long painfully slow process to get a fiance visa but easier than trying to get the girl in the country after you get married. It could take years to get her in the states if you don't get the visa before you get married.
You will need several thousand dollars to get everything done. Then there is the plane tickets etc. You have to show your ability to support her to Immigration Services.

marriage planning? try to be thrift.if possible,you can do simple marriage rites without any huge cash involve much the better.save the money for your new life as husband and wife.ahead,lot of expenses waiting.be practical this time!congratulations!
