Not really, othre than other goldfish. Goldfish are coldwater fish, needing temps of 68-72F. The other fish you see for sale (tetras, plecos, gouramis, cichlids, etc) are all warmwater fish needing temps in the high 70's, so the two don't mix.
Get an assortment of goldfish if you have room - orandas, pearscale, fantails, etc, just remember that each fish need 15 gallons of water.

I was really sad when I found out that I couldn't put many other fish with goldfish. They are tend to nip at the tails of any flashy fish. The good news is that there are several different varietys of goldfish. Just look at your local pet store. They are usually pretty good with bottom suckers too. If you want a fun fish to watch try a dojo loach. They look like eels and they can get pretty active.

I wouldn't recomend goldfish with other fish besides those mentioned. They can get mean and you don't want to make the other fish miserable.

You can put basically anything in with a goldfish, but you shouldn't. Goldfish are dirty fish, and most of the time the water that they are in is unfit for most other fish. The only way to combat this is to do a ridiculous amount of water changes. If you are still wanting to mix and match, my suggestion would be platys and an algae eater of some sort.

You could put in loachs. The weather loach likes colder temperatures, and is very peaceful. He would do good.

Also you could put in a pleco.
