Stereotypes are ignorant, because you cannot take an entire race or culture and say that they all have the same traits and problems. Each individual has their own personality and problems and it has nothing to do with their skin color or where they come from.

Animal cruelty is wrong no matter how you look at it, I am not a vegetarian or anything but I do believe that animals should be treated humanely because they feel pain just like we do.

Because what is"normal" is often defined by a social consensus.Standards vary from one community to the next but whatever deviates from that standard is considered abnormal or even threatening. Patterns of recognition eventually become stereotypes.Sexism is simply an attempt to systematize an observed norm in a world that is largely male-dominant. Racism, however, is an attempt to subjugate a people by their supposed differences. It's essentially about power.- I'm not certain of what you mean by animal abuse. Beating, starvation, neglect would fall under my definition. Civilized communities have already passed legislation outlawing such activities.

The world isn't you. You can think your own way, and you also can't really know what others are thinking, just by the way they look. Look at the "man/woman in the mirror" and be sure you have an open mind, because it will really make you happier not to judge others. If you find yourself always doing this, it might be because you're afraid to see your own faults.

Animal abuse terrifies and upsets me personally, but I also realize that animals are abused everywhere and in all cultures---eaten, skinned, used in fights, displayed in circuses, worked as draft animals, abandonded to die, and tortured in lab experiments. I can't excuse the pain my country puts animals through by focussing on animals being hurt in some other country. All I can do is be aware, and be kind to my own pets.

People can't explain why people are different from then, they don't know enough about the difference or think that the person is more different to them than they really are, and you need to be able to explain and measure the difference between someone else, and you, before you can tell the difference between that someone else, and a similar person. I don't believe in animal abuse, they feel pain, and animal's are usually pretty innocent.

I find stereotypes about myself and other cultures and races kind of funny. Most of them have a grain of truth in them. It's not the stereotype that's bad it's how the insult or slide is perceived. People are ready to kill because of what people say about them; they need to let it role off like water off a ducks back.

I had to put down one of my pets. I could have let the vet do it, but I did it, because I loved her and I wanted her last seconds to be with me. It's a slippery slop abusing animal, because soon your not satisfied with animals and you start abusing other of your kind. Animal abuse is despicable and the mark of a sick twisted mind in need of help.

Because, sterotypes are, for the most part, real. Regardless of how much that upsets us, sterotypes wouldnt exist if they didnt contain some kernels of truth.
