Newspaper account of a house fire started by a candle. Mother got out of the house. She was UNINJURED. Both of her young children died in the fire.

first thought is mother ran for her life and forgot about her children. i could be wrong about this but as a parent myself i would think the the first thought of a mother or father would to make sure the children got out. but you never know. people panic and sometimes do something they regret for the rest of their lives. still it doesnt look too good for the mother and she will have to live with that the rest of her life. unless of course she set the fire to kill her children. all kinds of possibilities here but i still go with my first reaction.

How could a mother leave the house without her children? That is horrible, the poor kids and the mother who now has to live with that guilt and lose.

My reaction is, and always has been...How the h.e.l.l. do you leave a burning building without your children? I, and I believe the majority of parents, would die trying. There is no way I'm running out of a burning building knowing my children are still inside. Ain't no way, no how. We'd burn together.

I don't know that I like the sound of that. I mean, I've never been in that situation but I'd think I'd try like hell to go after my babies and move heaven and earth to save them or at least attempt to, prior to getting out of the house.

The first thin that came to mind is I would have got the children. What kind of person leaves there kids to fend for themselves?

Initial reaction is the mother is selfish.
First priority is to get ur kids out then worry about urself.
Unless ur kids suck then let um burn! j/k

Awful, I wouldn't leave my house without getting my kids. No matter what. Makes me wonder if she even checked on them when she found out about the fire.

Very suspicious. Perhaps a clever way to murder your children. Or just a tragic accident. It's hard to say without more details.

i would think why did they leave a candle burning and why didnt the mother try to save her children???? why did she go right for the door instead of going to get her children???

I believe that she should have gotten her children out first...... this world and its people are coming to s**t.... or my other thought was could it be coincindence or did she murder her own children???? I guess no one will ever know unless the truth be told
