I Want to get extra rims to make it cheaper and easier to change from winter to summer tires. Someone is selling used P19570R14 for $ 20 each - should I buy them or keep looking for the P18570R14's? Thanks.

A 195 vs a 185 shouldn't cause you problems, but that is a tire size. Where do the rims come in? If you are buying new wheels for your snow tires, and the snow tires are only one size larger (or smaller) than your summer tires, use the same size factory wheels. On a Corolla, you only need snow tires on the front, so why not find two used wheels at a salvage that match your factory wheels? It would save you some money.

I don't have the facts on your make or model but I do know that when I upgraded my Rims on my classic 64 Ford, I had to use spacers. Otherwise the tires would have rubbed. I have leaf springs that are warn and need to be replaced so this helped to elevate the car enough to take some bounce out of it's tail in over speed bumps. My fav. for specifics on a make or model is CarTalk.com, just punch in your model and see what others have written about their experience in owning your model over the years. For your particular question search in their database. It's huge. Save money when ever it is safe to do so.

You need to be certain that you have enough room in the front to accommodate the larger diameter tire. Make sure that it does not hit the inner well when turning all the way. It will also slightly change the accuracy of your speedometer. You will be going slightly faster than it shows on the Gage.

Your speedometer will register faster than your actual speed with the 195. When you are going 60 on the speedometer your actual speed will be 58.6. Not enough to worry with for a few months.

no prob at all. all that will happen is you`ll have slightly more grip. the tyre is only 10mm wider but i bet you if you put one next to the other you wouldnt be able to tell the diff. just buy them.
