I notist my knowledge of chemistry is a bit rusty? what shoul i do ?

You can do well in organic chemistry, even if you did not do well in General Chemistry. It is a different kind of chemistry. Study the first one third, very well, then the rest will come easy.

If you are doing this for college you may want to look into weather or not you will even be able to get credit for it. Some classes "expire" and you will have to retake them anyway. Otherwise see if you can "audit" the class where you attend to hear the lectures but are not really enrolled in the class. You can also just take the class online to refresh your memory before taking organic.

I should take the organic chemistry. Because once u will take it u will start remembing the basics again!

If you review Lewis structures and acid-base, you should be OK. Just be prepared to work a little harder than those that had chem recently.

just review the number of valence electron of an anions and elements.. and also the nomenclature.. functional group also is necessary :D
