I have like the first tivo ever and I'm thinking about buying a new one. The Dual Timer 80 hour one. I was wondering if you can record a show and watch another show at the same time? Right now on my old tivo I can tape a show but I have to watch the show I"m taping so witht a Dual one can you do both? Thanks.

Yes you can. On the new ones you can actually record 2 shows and watch something else at the same time.

Yes. [BTW, TIVO doesn't tape. It uses a hard disk to record]
