Well, seeing as how this is the movie category, the Romanian film, "The Death of Mr. Lazarescu," was pretty good although it didn't have much good to say about Romanian medical care.

I think the Romanian people in the Borat film (which I adored) are finally seeing sense. They were said to have been paid £3 to star in his film - but agreed to do so without knowing that they were going to be portrayed as inbred rapists and sex workers. Now they are filling for compensation. Can't say I agree they were taken advantage of, but in this day and age, they might as well jump on the bandwagon and sue someone too!

As a people, I don't know, I have never been there; however, I have worked with a couple of them and they were nice. I was friends with one for fifteen years.
