Mate, you wear anything if you feel comfortable in it. There is no such thing as garments forbidden for men. What a load of cra*p! I am a straight male and I wear only female thongs as underwear. They are absolutely comfortable and I love the feeling and would not settle for anything else in this life!
If you want to wear thongs, go buy wear them and enjoy, do not care about what the others may or may not think.

Thongs are unsuitable for 14 year old boys because they could restrict growth. You are currently going through puberty, where the body begins to mature and change. Wearing such a restrictive article of clothing, in an extremely sensitive and susceptible place, could affect the development and growth of that area of your body, dramatically affecting your future. If you are considering whether or not to wear a thong, this reason alone should cause you to reconsider.

Uh, how about no?!? Man thongs aren't ok for any boy man or anything in between. Either freeball it or wear the normal boxers or briefs.

14 yo boys should be in tidy whiteys. Anything else is too sexual and inappropriate. Man thongs are wrong on any male no matter the age.

Thong underwear don't look good on most men, but are definitely inappropriate for teenage boys. If you want appealing looking undies, boxer briefs look nice and are more practical.
