I remember when I was in my thirties and applying of jobs. Lots of my Catholic friends submitted photos of themselves in their convent uniforms and whilst you may think this was superfluous it was not and got them the jobs.

Names like `America`, `Jesus`, `Moses` are a fast grab at recognition without the hard work. Mind you, I do fancy the name Philadelphia myself.

What do you think?

Names mostly respond to fashions. Before the discovery of America, (named after a commercial explorer), the name and its variations would be unremarkable.

In Catholic countries, the name 'Jesus' is common, as are the names of many of the saints.

Do you identify yourself with the feeling "of brotherly love" (the meaning of 'philadelphia', from greek)? Or is it the sound of the word that you enjoy ?

I think these names are cool. I mean it gives someone a unique name or just a name that not many people would name their children. My best friends name is Paris (no not paris hilton) and its a great conversation starter for her. What gives her story a kick though is that her mothers name is France. No really its true. Anyways, no matter what the name is no one is going to hire you because your name is Sunshine or something like that (there really is a girl at school who's name was sunshine and other's was california). Its not in the name its in their personality which usually ends up fitting the name. The name just gives you an extra edge once you beat your competiton w/ skills. Personally I think America Ferrera is great as an actress and is a great representation of America as in the country.
