I am 33 weeks and 4 days pregnant. All yesturday and now I am feeling a lot of pressure in my vaginal area. When I go pee I feel a lot of pressure too and it hurts to go. I feel kind of swollen like down there. When hubby and me were intimate last night it was very painful to me. He even said that I felt very loose( Not the same as the other night, like I was tighter then) I am worried that something is wrong, I am of course going to call my doctor, but would like to get some other opinions first. (This is my second child but never experienced this before.)

It sounds like the baby has dropped...maybe you're beginning to dilate. I was always told that diarrhea is a symptom/sign of pre-labor or early labor. Definetly call your doctor to make sure, you may need to be checked out. Early labor is not fun and is very stressful. You want to get checked before complications occur. Good luck and congratulations!!!

Your baby has probably dropped into your pelvis--that is the pressure you are feeling. I have the same thing. My OB told me the swelling in the vaginal area is also due to the pressure from the baby. But if you are worried you can always go to your OB or the hospital to be sure. Good luck!!

if your really worried go to the ER. I was very swollen below the belt due to the pressure of my son but I had the doc to check and make sure that was all it was. But I was not having any trouble peeing or the other symptoms. I Hope all is well

I'm 34 weeks pg and have been experiencing a lot of pressure on my bladder and lower abdomen for a week or so now (thanks to the baby's head), making me feel like I have to pee all the time, but it isn't painful to urinate. I would definitely call your OB right away to find out what's going on. Good luck.

Sounds like the baby's head is down in the canal. I would definately call your doctor. Are you having any cramping? cramping would be a sign of dialating. If not it is normal to feel pressure, the baby is getting bigger and has no where else to go.

You'll notice alot more symptoms like this with the second baby. I'm willing to bet that you're just fine and are just experiancing some of the hell of the last trimester, but you really should go get checked out if you're ever in doubt.
Good luck!!!!

The pressure could just be that your baby dropped and that is perfectly normal, and nothing to be concerned about. You can still have weeks to go before labor begins after the baby drops.
