Yes we are fighting the terrorists within Iraw, not Iraqis, but when we toppled Sadam's government we basically put a doormat on Iraq for terrorists to come in. They weren't there to begin with, now we created a breeding ground for them. Keep up the good work Georgie Boy

He's talking about the insurgents. His point is if U.S. troops leave because the bombings, terrorism will increase because the terrorist got what they want from the U.S. leaving. Thus the insurgents will try to take control of Iraq without the U.S. support to stop them. So then Iraq will be back to square one. It's actually a good point if you listen to his whole speach instead of pulling out soundbites out of context.

I believe he considers ANYONE whom disagrees with him a terrorist!
As a Republic, not a democracy, he is subject to the desires of the people not the politcal agenda...from what I have read the majority of the people want out of iraq. Bush, should be required to comply with the wishes of the people.

first to correct the ignorance of your first answerer. The "victory" was the capture of Saddam. That was a specific victory. Why must you blind liberals keep misrepresenting everything our President says?
Now to answer this question, from another blind liberal who is misrepresenting something our President said:
WE ARE NOT AT WAR WITH IRAQI'S. WE ARE FIGHTING ALONGSIDE AND TRAINING IRAQI'S TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AGAINST ANOTHER WOULD BE TERRORIST GOVERNMENT!
MY GOD, GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR AZZES!

He declared victory once before on the navy ship but that was as false as the whole premise of the entire scenario! WE USA have more important problems with higher priorities than this huge folly JR BUSH brought us! One of those problems is Capitalism & our own representative government!

Alquida has gone in and so have the Iranians and Syrians to make the whole place a mess. The place is utter chaos. Terrorists will eventually fail because they are pure evil.

We're not fighting the Iraqis. We're fighting terrorists and insurgents who are fighting against the Government of Iraq.
There is a difference.

It is indeed a "war on terrorism." Not a war on the Iragis. This is also why we are still in Afghanistan and other areas where we/they believe there are terrorists.
