Loch Ness Monster, simiilar to the plesiosaurs that were thought to have vanished 65 million years ago. The deep, dark waters of Loch Ness may indeed contain a monster but no one is 100% sure.

It's very unlikely. I'm not familiar with every large lake, but Loch Ness almost certainly doesn't have a monster in it. Any lake monster would have to be a population, not just a single individual, otherwise it would have died long ago and if it ever was there wouldn't be any more. Loch Ness is far too poor in nutrients to support a large enough population of any nessie-sized creature, so there is almost certainly no Loch Ness monster. A similar situation would probably apply to many other large lakes. The ocean is a better bet for large undiscovered creatures, although with how long we've been sailing on it we've probably found most of the larger creatures by this point. Below the depths where sunlight can reach most nutrients come from dead things sinking and so, like Loch Ness, are too nutrient poor to support large populations of very large creatures.

Firstly; There is only one lake in scotland ( the lake of montieth )
The rest are all called lochs. Regarding the monster; there are some sketchy pictures but no concrete proof.

Lt. Col. Kenneth Wilson was the "man" who "took the photo" of the Loch Ness monster. His dying words were:

"I had you all going, didn't I ?"

I believe there probably is, although I doubt that "she" is a monster, or even that she is the only one of her type. I believe there are/were many species on earth throughout the short history of our planet that we know very little or nothing of.

yes I believe there could be ancient animals still among us. You know there are still unexplored lands in this world. Very big possibility. Like deep in the oceans and mountainous regions that have not been explored.

No one really knows. But considerring the sheer number of recently discoverred- or re-discoverred- species, Nessie just might be real.
