openworld is the name BT used to use for internet access. It was before broadband was widely available so openworld was a dial-up service.

It was then changed to BTYahoo and offered yahoo services too. The old email addresses were @btopenworld.com now its @btinternet.com.

BT still does dial-up access but the main focus for all isps now is broadband
