On Animal or "Human Cloning? Do you care? Do you think it's wrong? Do you think it would be a good thing? Is it immoral? Just your general view on it.

I think it's wrong. The implications of cloning don't sit well with me. I just don't think we should mess around with nature.

Cloning is good.Take it as an achievement.Like man landing on Moon.Therapeutic cloning is going to be a boon to mankind. A boon from man to man.So cloning is good.Like any thing in this world, this has negative side also.Untill Cloning is made Business, we have a valuable technology in our hand.There are a lot of misconceptions on cloning.A general awareness would not be a bad idea.
Cloning is equal to twins but both of them are living in different eras.

First of all seperate animal and human cloning and then examine the purpose. Our society is so filled with despots that would abuse any scientific purpose that I believe we must say no to cloning. Especially that of humans. Could you resist the cloning of a loved one that has died in order to try to keep them with you.
No. Cloning for whatever good, would be overcome by evil uses.

If it is used in stem-cell research to lead to the possibility to regenerate limbs, organs, spines, nerve-endings etc., then I'm all for it. If it is going to be used to pervert natural selection (for humans or animals), corrupt our food supply (such as cloning only those animals that produce the most meat to fat, bone, ratio for example), then I'm against it. Unfortunately, these concerns don't make a damn bit of difference once there is a profit consideration.
