How long is Pronger supposed to be out?
Why do people get kicked out of the faceoff, before the puck drops?

not sure on pronger, but on the faceoff people get kicked out for various reasons. in the nhl the two centermen have to put their sticks down in a particular order (i think it's home first then away, but i could have that backwards), so sometimes the ref kicks a centerman out for not complying with that requirement. other times a centerman is kicked out b/c one of his teammates jumps into the circle early. basically, the ref can kick someone out of a faceoff for just about whatever reason he wants, but those are two of the most common reasons.

I thoght pronger was supposed to be out for atleast 25games.
Beacause they are fighting , or starting to early on the faceoff.

You can get kicked out of the faceoff for yapping, too.

not sure about faceoff, but the Ducks have announced that he will be out until late February, after the all star break, due to his broken foot.

according to tsn hes out about one month and they get thrown out because either one of the wingers outside the circle step in too early or the centre puts his stick down before the drop

I've heard anywhere from another 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Some say it's just a fracture while others maintain it is a broken bone.

pronger is day to day kicked out there are rules for face off break them and your out.
