evertime i download a game to play i keep getting a message saying download direct x could some one tell me how i download it please

If you go to microsoft.com you can download from there

You need the Direct X so if it asks you to download it say OK then go to the file that it was loaded into and install it from there. Could be in a temp folder some where in (my documents).

The problem might actually be your graphics card. Most PC games especially the newer ones require a powerful graphics card which cheap computers lack. Read the requirements on the back of the game case (under Minimum Requirements) and cheak that your graphics card is compatible. :)

You need to download direct x type it into your web broser and you'll get a whole page of free sites to download from.

Go to directx.com and download the latest version. If you got a dial up connection i really wouldn't reccomend trying as it will take you hours.
