I am in the play and having trouble finding music for curtian calls, intermissions, and etc.

If I remember correctly (and it's been almost 11 years), when we did this show in high school, we played Mozart's "Rondo alla Turca" during intermission and the curtain call. It's a lively piece and fit with the mood of the show. :)

The play was written in 1939, so, if I were you, I'd start listening to popular music from the era, and see if anything strikes your fancy. You can probably run some Google-type searches to find out what songs were especially popular around that time. Or, if you can find a copy of the film version (1944), you might get some ideas from listening to the music they used.
