Are all of you idiots, Brady Quinn blew after playing Michigan and then even dug himself deeper in the hole after the USC game. LSU had nothing to even do about Brady Quinn, he has been stopped twice this season, nothing new I didn't see earlier, just a good job of watching game film of Notre Dame against the Big Blue and the Trojans.
Ray Rice only dominated in weak opponents, try plaing against a good run defense in the likes of a Michigan or Florida team, thats just not gonna happen there. Calvin Johnson was the only one who in my book could of came close as to he was a very productive receiver in a hard conference of the ACC. And yes I give Darren McFadden credit for being a standout in the SEC, but still the Heismann is for the regular season here, Bowl MVP's are for postseason.

Ray Rice, Jamarcus Russell, and Pat White would probably have been a lot higher. Troy Smith may still have won it though.

Quinn blew it against LSU... McFadden wasn't even best on his team vs Wisc (Felix Jones)... Smith sucked against UF...
Smith is up there because McFadden and Quinn failed miserably, but Ray Rice dominated K-State so I'm going to have to say that Ray Rice of Rutgers said

i think alota people could make a case that at least jamarcus russel (qb lsu) should of at least gotten to go to the prensentation, he played a great season in the toughest conference (sec) he can run nearly as well as smith but with more power, and can throw with the best in the country and lsu played a much harder schedule than ohio state so if it wasn't given to troy smith i think the russell is the next best candidate
