First off, I'm a Florida fan.
Second, you don't know what you're talking about. Troy Smith is clearly deserving of the Heisman. He just didn't play well against the over welming Gator D. Chris Leak isn't even the best QB in the SEC.

wow, some human beings might want to be propose.... maximum of those jerks are precise, the Heisman trophy is basically for college gamers, yet they are commonly a touch nicer about it .... do not pay any interest to them. it is not a stupid question. the objective of asking a question is to study something, and that i take it you purely discovered something about the Heisman ... for this reason it served its objective, even if it wasn't somewhat the way you meant it, and for this reason that's a very good question. :O) and if you're speaking about league MVP, there's a good probability of that - he's the perfect QB contained in the NFL, absolute self belief. and that i'm not even a colts fan and that i'm able to admit it. the colts might want to be a lot less dominating without Peyton ...

Actually it probably should've gone to Ray Rice based on final vote numbers and bowl performances...

The Heisman is awarded for achievement in the regular season, not in the Bowl games and Smith played a phenomenal regular season. So, if Tomlinson rushes for 10 yards next weekend he doesn't deserve the NFL MVP award for his regular season achievement? That is the exact same thing you suggest.

He proved thru the whole season that he was the man, Florida won the game as a team and though he played a horrible game the whole team did, he didnt have any protection......Over all though he was the best individual player for the year...

At least Adrian Peterson had the excuse of a broken shoulder and lack of game-fitness for his sub-par performance against Boise State. Smith had no excuse.

he should keep the heisman...just because we lost last night everyone thinks its ALL troy smith's fault.he would have had a pretty good game if the offensive line did their job and if ginn was in the game.

He did a great job throughout the season. They just got too cocky and didn't really show up to play. He totally lost it last night.
