That depends on location and if you include college. Where I live, the estimate is $500,000 which includes everthing from prenatal care/delivery to college.

it is impossible to say how much raising a child will cost
for example when I have my son 17 years school was way cheaper than it is today
the college he choose to go to is costing 20365.00 per year did I count on that no
so you see no one knows

It's too depressing to think about... did you add in inflation, and RESPs? Medical costs? Field-trips, and school supplies?

there is not a limit. once you have a child you want to take care of it no matter what. by the time they are teen they want only the best clthing(brand) electronic ect.
