To Tara M, well said. There is nothing worse than a sore winner! People, get over it. Florida won. They deserved to win. Both teams deserved to be there. At least the football players on both teams showed some respect for each other after the game.

The Big Ten isnt overrated. There the only conference to have 2 undefeated teams going into the last regular game. Florida had a good game and got lucky in a way. Probably cause there was like a 50 day period between games. What is that? Its rediculous.

I happen to like Fl and OSU...so I don't really care why they got be ranked number one. Florida won didn't they so who cares.
By the way a buckeye is a non edible type of nut that looks like a roundish brown large hard thing with a darker round spot on it.It resembles a Buck's eye and is considered a good luck charm.It grows on a buckeye tree as a pod that opens up to reveal the buckeye inside. At least I have seen one and a several real gators too!!!!!

I don't know. How did Florida get #2 by beating Vandy by only six, Georgia by only 7, South Carolina by 1, and Florida State by 7.
Oh wait didn't Ohio State beat two #2 teams in Texas and Michigan, plus two other ranked teams. Dominated in all games but two (including national championship).
That just doesn't make sense now does it.

It's the "any given Sunday" theory (except in this case it's Saturday). Illinois played way over its level, and Ohio State was overlooking them. Face it, Ohio State was the best team through the regular season... no exceptions. Florida just had a better night last night (WAY better), and they're deserving of the title now. You can't knock what Ohio State did the rest of the season though.

Big 10 bias. The big 10 is the most over rated, over hyped conference in the country. Their teams are so disgraceful. SEC is the undisputable #1 conference. Big 10 has about as much creditibility as Conference USA.
