I need to know how to enter ANY equations, like...
x-5=23
3x+4=19
3x+3y=24
Can someone please help me!!!!!!

I am using a Sharp EL-506W scientific calculator, I am so Math and Calculator stupid it isn't even funny and I have no idea how to enter the simplist equations!

well...unfortunately you cant, it is impossible to enter equations into a scientific calculator, these types of calculators dont allow for a variable.

if you had a graphing calculator...you could enter equations, however, unless you get a really highpower calculator, you still have to solve them yourself

it depends on the type of the scientific calculator you are using. for example if you are using casio 991 you can press mode and choose equation mode which look like anx+bny=cn
and input your data and the calculator will solve it but remember if you are solving equation like this x-5=23 you have to sum the constants and put bn =0

depends on the calculator, but you can solve for y or set them to zero and put them in the y editor for a graph which will give you a solution set.
However, given the simplicity of the problems you presented it would be much easier to for you to learn algebra!

It includes directions on how to enter equations, along with some examples (seems to be "mode 2").
