I have tried to take them off and now my finger is even mroe swollen and my rings will NOT BUDGE. It is starting to hurt kind of bad. Any suggestions on how to help get these rings off (i've tried soap, water, lotion,) and how to get my finger's swelling to go down? THANKS I'M DESPERATE!

soak them in epsom salt and warm water or use an ice bag. may try some grease/veg oil.

You might just have to wait for the swelling to come down But if you have tried lotion and soap and it seems they are cutting off your circulation then I would say you would have to get them cut off better than losing your finger. Good Luck!

You need to let the swelling go down first. Try an ice pack to reduce the swelling then try some liquid soap after the swelling has subsided and they should slide right off.

the only way now is to cut the rings and get them off that way! it sux but at least ur rings will be saved better the repair them rather than lose ur fingers!!!

and I reccommend goin to a jeweler for that, dont use anything like a saw or anything...that wouldnt be good
a jeweler would have the tool to use!

SOak your hand in ice water to reduce the swelling. Keep your hand above the level of your heart. As high as you can is best.
Once swelling is down, oil the finger up and try to remove them.

get an ice pack for the swelling, and let your finger 'rest' for awhile before trying to get the rings off. maybe you can try butter or cooking oil?

It really sounds gross,but try using a hemmoriodal cream {eg..prepration H}. It's good for taking the swelling down.

Do you have any wire cutters, that's how they got my sisters off at the hospital. They took wire cutters and cut the band of the ring. You can always take them somewhere and have them fixed later.

try putting ice on ur fingers and using butter to get the rings off.........
