38 weeks is a full term pregnancy. Here's a link to signs of labor sounds like it could be, but then again it could just be something you ate. lol.

If it's every five minutes and not painful, it could be the beginning of labor. I had braxton hicks contractions (they felt kinda like that) every 5 minutes for at least 8 hours before they started getting painful, and then waited another 2 hours to go to the hospital, and baby was born 8 hours later. You could always call your doctor if you think you might be in labor and see what he/she wants you to do.

Pretty good sign... are you sure you're not having a contraction every 5 minutes? Is your tummy getting really tight everytime you 'have to go'? If you're feeling a lot of pressure down low... get to the hospital. Call your doctor, get their opinion.

YES YOU CAN DEFINITELY BE IN LABOR. BE CAREFUL THINKING THAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO HAVE A BOWEL MOVEMENT. IT COULD BE THE BABY TRYING TO PUSH HIS OR HER WAY OUT. ALSO, ITS NOT EARLY LABOR.

Yes, it can be a sign that labour is coming soon. I experienced that the day before my son was born. I had to go to the bathroom all the time to poop. It's your body's way of preparing itself for labour.

I only felt like that when it was time to push. Just to be on the safe side get to a hospital, and whatever you do resist the urge.

I'd say yes. If it keeps up or gets worse, i'd go get checked out.
My sister thought it was just the raisen bran she ate for breakfast, but went to get checked just in case and ended up giving birth in the parking lot at the hospital!!!!!!!
Good luck!!!!

The baby is putting pressure on your bottom, if you suddenly feel you have to push, like push the baby out, get to the hospital.
