ok so i had my last period somewhere between the 5 and the 10th of december. then on december 30 i woke up starving and with very very sore breasts and nipples. my husband told me to take a test and i did even tho you are supposed to wait until you missed your period. the test came up positive(and then 3 more came up positive) even tho i wasn't suppose to even get my period for 1-2 more weeks. i did the conception calculator and it said that if my period was on the 5 to 10 of december, then i would of gotten pregnant anywhere from the 20 to 25 of december. if that is true then i am less than a month pregnant. ok so here is the confusing part. my stomach is already beginning to pop out so my pants dont fit properly. i know its not fat becuase it is not soft, it is hard. is it possible to be showing this soon?? or could i be farther along than i think?? i have a doctors appointment tomorrow, but i was just wondering if anyone has any imput.

Congratulations. The sore nipples is a symptom, but to be showing this soon is not. The first change I notice in my body is my waist disappears. Your stomach won't get any bigger until you're 3-4 months along. With your first, you won't begin to show for quite awhile. If you are showing, I thing you conceived earlier. Your OB can determine how far along you are through an ultrasound. Some do an 8-10 week ultrasound and a 20 week ultrasound. If she does one early, you'll know exactly how far along you are. Best of luck to you!

I did the same thing. I think some women just do that. It could be a mental thing too. But bloating is a very early and common effect. Your uterus begins to fill up with blood immediately after conception. This is noticeable if you are a very thin person. Just remember, its not baby you are seeing, its simply your uterus filling with blood and nutrients to nourish your baby.
I am thrilled for you!! I am 5 months pregnant now and really showing. If this is your first pregnancy as it is mine, you have only just begun with the changes that are about to take place in such a short length of time. This experience is simply a joy and I wish the both of you all the luck in the world! God bless.

Yes you could be farther along than you think. Was the last period a normal flow? Some women get a light "period" early in their pregnancy and that isn't cause for concern. From all your symptons and signs Motherhood is on its' way. Good luck tomorrow at the doctor. PS I began showing at six weeks into the pregnancy with my son. I was quite petite.

Yiu are probably farther along than you think. REemember every woman is different so because most women stop their period as soon as they get pregnant that does not mean that you will. My friend had her period up until she was 4 months pregnant. I also know a woman who only found out she was pregnant at 5 months along when she went tothe doctor because he stomach was growing. She thought she has a tumor. She saw her period straight through her pregnancy.

I believe that while in your first months of pregnancy you can still have your period. I'm not exactly sure for how long that can last, I say just stay calm until your doctors appointment, because stress will affect the pregnancy and the baby. Either way the doctor will be able to help you with all your questions.

congrats to you, new mommy!

I tested positive when I was around 15 days pregnant. But the reason I did the test was because I felt my tummy was bulging out. So, it is possible to show a little this early too. Mostly it is bloating.

The first day of my last period is dec. 2nd. So I'm 5 weeks pregnant. I don't think your stomach supposed to show that you are pregnant this early. I have to undo my jean buttons because it feels tighter but it is due to bloating. And I've been eating so much! I don't expect to get pregnant belly till i'm 6months. good luck!

It's just bloating. A scan will be able to confirm your dates however.
