No, but I would think it would be rather painful as there is usually very little fat on the foot. And if you are going to wear flip-flops a lot I would suggest only using black to keep it from fading so bad. My SIL had a toe ring tatooed on and it is black and she very rarely wears anything other than flip-flops(lives in FL) and it still looks great after about 7 years.

The top of your foot is a pretty sensitive area, tattoos done on the foot turn out pretty good!! of course as long as you go to a reputable tattooer. the healing process sucks, b/c your limited to the shoes you can wear. you foot will swell up pretty good b/c your always putting presure on it, if your going to get it tattooed you have to be dedicated to taking good care of it while its healing, Dont wear socks for a few days, tight shoes, keep it clean, and try to stay off your feet at least for the first 24-48 hours.... My opinion tattooed feet are cool

my roommate did. it looks great, but it faded fast because she wears flip flops during the spring and summer.

there is a lady at my job with one... it is a dog tag and it has the loop around her middle toe and the tag on the top and says ----- property of god...

it is so cute
