Yes, if it had then someone who deserved it would've gotten it - Troy Smith, Darren McFadden, and Brady Quinn all struggled against good defenses - McFadden wasn't even the best RB for Arkansas (lol... Felix Jones was)

After the bowl games, I think that a solid argument should be made for Rutgers RB Ray Rice [look at all those R's... :-) ] as heisman deserver.

rather no different participant deserved it, maybe mike hart nevertheless I propose you observed how helpful he replaced into to michigan I propose look on the rose bowl, undesirable game Michigan loss. plus he replaced into the only working back to have over ninety yards in all and sundry of his communities video games (no longer even Darren Mcfadden). Plus for all you talkers who say that the vast 10 sucks look on the communities in there who had 2 or fewer losses OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, all those communities complete in the best 10 so examine em and weep. (speaking reg. Season for Mike Hart to boot Mich. gave up after the 1st 0.5!) (one little side be conscious: Troy Smith does not have won the heisman if Adrian Peterson had no longer gotten injured)
