Who was the killer of Laura Palmer in Twin Peaks?

I loved that show, but never really understood who actually killed her??? Wasn't that the point of the whole show?? Why did they not make it clear?? Or is it just me and I can't remember?

It was her father. Check out Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me if you haven't already seen it. It clarifies a lot of the confusing points of the first season of the show.

It was indeed her father, Leland Palmer. Making it clear wouldn't be very David Lynch. :)

I thought it was her dad wasnt it?
I might be wrong but that was like what 15 years ago?
