Coffee grounds are good in a compost bin if you have a lot of other vegetation. I would not put liquid coffee directly on plants.
Water is the best thing with occasional fertilizer, and you should never use fertilizers without checking the needs of the plant.

Also, If you have too many coffee grounds in your compost it's not always good. Although I've heard that worms are attracted to coffee grounds, which is a good thing since they aerate the soil.

As some people already stated in their responses to your question regarding coffee, the answer is yes, coffee (grinds) is good for plants. It is true that coffee in liquid form is not good for plants however.

Coffee grinds provide an excellent source of acidity that most, but not all plants require. One thing to remember is that most plants need some acidity in their soil which and there are also some that do not do well with acidic soil. So to answer your question a little more accurately, I would need to know what type of plants you have....

Coffee grounds are fine for plants if mixed into the dirt. Cofee, the drink, is not good for plants. Coffee grounds outdoors work great because the grounds encourage worms to come to the area as they like coffee grounds. When you have worms, you have lots of aeration and this is very good for outdoor plants. Dont use too much of a good thing though. Allow the coffee grounds to disappear before adding more.

Acid loving plants love coffe grounds (used). Grounds help the compost, as mentioned. I've cured powdery mildew on plants with Fresh coffee grounds and beer - really.

Coffee grounds are a good source of organic matter, but they acidify the soil. So, even if you are using them around acid-loving plants such as hollies and azaleas, don't use too much!

coffee is best put in the compost and not directly on plants, as it will raise the acidity of the soil and some plants may die as a result...it's not harmful otherwise, just strong

Coffee grinds are used to make the soil more acidic. Test the acidity of your soil to determine if more is needed. If so, then add some coffee grinds, if not needed, dont use it - too much acidity is bad.

I don't think a little bit would hurt it but too much would probably kill the plants.
