everything was fine he goes through these cycles every 3-4 months where he says the relationship is going nowhere, he doesn't see a future with us, he never wants to get married to me or anyone else. i call and call and act like nothing in a week or so we are back together happy..then out of the blue no warning it happens again. he will say he wants to be friends and even go forward with opening a business together we have 4 animals betweens us..he didnt call me all day yesterday im going crazy..he said the migraines he gets is from the stress of the relationship..yet other than these episodes we laugh and joke and enjoy eaachothers company he says im am his best friend..his mother says to ignore it and when we do talk to not bring things up..that it will pass..please HELP..what do i do?

It seems your boyfriend does not know what it is he wants to do, one minute he wants to end things the next you are laughing like you never laughed before. If he has made the decision that he wants to break up then maybe that it is best , although he should have given you warning that he wanted to do that. Sometimes if you let something pass it will never truly go away until you have talked it through and came up with a solution. It might be time you thought about finding someone else, or break from the dating game for awhile until you have figured things out. Hang out with your friend if you have any. Work on a hobby. It is obvious it is not going to work out so you know what you have to do.

if someone says that they do not see you in his future than I think he is probably not kidding around. There are so many more things to life and many more people out there to meet. Why stress and go through these episodes every few months. Life is short - don't settle for unhappy. Dont let that be an option for either one of you. You both need to have a serious chat.

yea its a guy thing, when they get frustrated about anything they bring the relationship into it, they will say its going no where, all we do is fight, and then they wonder why WE are upset or crying or not talking to them, its like omg you yelled at me brought our relationship into this and now you say it sucks and its going no where fast.just ignore them when they say it, i know it hurts to hear them say all that bad stuff because i know what it feels like it hurts so bad to know the one you love is sitting by you or talking to you on the phone is saying our relationship sucks. You can make this work i have tried it too and it works just act like nothing happened but be a little quiet when they are around then they know that they did something horrible and it will make them want to fix it fast for what they said.good luck to you and your boyfriend

It sounds like you don't live together. does he go days without calling you? If so DONT THINK TWICE about hiring a detective.
Life is short, when he plays that game again (and he will)tell him its over and mean it. for at least two months. that will give you enough time to take a step back and look at where your life is and where it is going. you must put yourself first. life is to short to always feel unsure. You need to get control of your life again. Best of luck to you.

if your in the philippines...get a copy of january issue of cosmopolitan (local one) they have an article there entitled..."Your not the one he married" or something to that effect...it can help you...or u can buy a local novel by summit publishing entitled " Who Stole My Magic...a smart girl's breakup guide"....they have advised that can help you...hope i had shared something useful....

move on sounds like you wasted 5 yrs....and he gets back with you cause you look for him, stop doing that and maybe if he really wants to be with you he will come looking for you, and he doesnt then theres your answer
