That is already provided for children that cannot take care for themselves and that is as it should be.
But to provide that for adults would be a complete disaster.
You are expecting everyone to be self motivated and that is simply not the case.
How will the lazy be motivated to do anything?
Well,,, they will have to be told what to do, right?
Can you imagine a country with a hundred million of people on the dole?
Probably more than that even.
You will need some kind of control over who gets what and how much of it they can have, and also where to live.
Is that model starting to sound familiar?
Kind of sounds like North Korea doesn't it?
Even hard core communist countries cannot and will not provide those things i.e. housing, heath care, education, food and utility's
to everyone equally without the people working for it and making a contribution.
There are homeless and diseased and starving people in China and Cuba and Vietnam too because those people choose not work and make a contribution.
I admire your compassion and desire for everyone to have a quality life but it simply will not work.
