As i am interested in studying in Italy, i need to know whether a master in fashion is good enough as most of the fashion institutes are private and only have master courses which is not a master degree

MA in mainor i think and master is more recojnised because it is more hard and you get more education than you will get with minor

MA=Master of Arts degree.

You'll need to get your bachelor's degree (BA or BS) before you worry about the master's.

Master courses in a trade school are something else.

You need to look at the scepecific design schools in Italy that interest you and see what they require.
