This is a very confused situation for 'General' Bush. In attacking the Sunnis he is making the capital mistake of enpowering the Shiites and in turn Iran. He is also pissing off the Sunni countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia etc. This is such a mess he doesn't quite know what to do next.
The 20,000 plus troops are in Iraq for one purpose and that is to shore up Israel's anticipated attack on Iran. I have read here many people who think that Iran will not be attacked but I can take a bet with anyone that this will be done before June. It is part of the American Way Forward doctrine and Bush needs to accomplish this before leaving office.
I hope the Dems and the rest of thinking America puts a stop to this.

What is needed is more troops and less media and political intervention...war is war...do you think Ali in Iraq would think twice about cutting off your head or killing your children if you have any? No they would video tape it, put it on the Internet and declare it was the work of Allah...get a grip...the world can not be peaceful with bleeding heart liberal ideas...it never has been and never will be...it takes strong men, and in some cases women, for this to happen...this is more than a war for oil or whatever you liberals claim now a days...it is a war of ideology, the terrorist are willing to die for what they believe in even if it means their families dies too (many hope that their families are killed so it can be use for propaganda, why do you think they fire at American troops with their families in the same house? Would you do that?) We should make their dream of dying for their God a reality...violence is the only thing these people understand...these people are not educated people you can sit and talk to, most of them can not even read and write, they believe what they are told by their leaders...hell if you told Americans that they would go to Heaven, no matter how bad they were in their life, if they killed a few Muslims...there would be some dead Muslims...you live in a fanatasy world...if you want to blame anyone, blame Clinton...he let all this happen on his watch...but of couse you will never answer back, you just pose stupid questions all day long...don't you have a job? Oh that might be why you support the Liberal agenda...you get a raise in benefits....

Didn't the generals say they could only throw in about 9,000 immediately, and that there just weren't enough to pull in the 20k Bush wanted? CNN or FOX ran that one the other day..
Throw more money away, throw more kids into the meat grinder, distract the sheeple from the real War at Home. Have you read any of the police state legislation the rubberstamp Congress rammed down the Constitution's throat? We the People need to kick these bastards out, NOW.

Bush is just putting a band aid on a gaping, massively infected wound. It may cover things up--partly--for a while, but in the end it will have done very little for the underlying problem.

I find it hard to believe anything the Administration says. Everything must be fact checked, simply everything. I don't believe we need more American troops, we need more Iraqi troops.
