So I'm 5 1/2 weeks pregnant, and up until recently, my symptoms have been pretty steady. Morning sickness, breast tenderness and a small amount of cramping. But for the past couple of days I have had almost none of those symptoms. Could this mean something is wrong, or should i just enjoy a break from the morning sickness

Enjoy the break girl!! It is SO normal to "feel" pregnant one day and not the next. I remember thinking the same thing. It was like all the sudden my breasts didn't hurt and I wasn't as sleepy as I had been.
Try not to worry. You're not very far along just yet, you've got a long LONG way to go.
Congrats on the little miracle you've got in there!!!!

Call your doctor and schedule an appointment. It could be nothing is wrong, but it's better to ease your mind about it. How a person's boy handles pregnancy is completely different from person to person. You say that you have had "almost" none of the symptoms anymore - so what are you still experiencing? Sometimes if all symptoms disappear completely it could mean that the baby has stopped growing and you may have a miscarriage. If this is the case, your HCG levels could be dropping, which when it is rising, this is what typically causes the usual pregnancy symptoms (increased urination, breast tenderness, morning sickness, etc).

Call your doctor - they can do a simple blood test to check your hcg levels to make sure that they're increasing as they should be. Good luck to you!

I am 19 weeks now so luckily my morning sickness is gone, but when I was at 5-13 weeks my symptoms did the exact same thing. Sometimes my breasts would hurt so bad and I would have the worst morning sickness and other days I would feel completely normal. Just enjoy the break, but be prepared for another round of sickness in your future. Congrats on your pregnancy!

Morning sickness can come and go. Enjoy the break. Some people have morning sickness throughout their pregnancies and some don't have it at all. So, it could be gone for good if it has stopped. Just enjoy not having it. Not all symptoms last the entire pregnancy. Hopefully it doesn't come back. Good luck!

Enjoy the break from the morning sickness!! As long as you aren't cramping or bleeding everything is most likely ok. If you continue to worry, call your doctor, he may want to check everything out.

Sounds normal to me and i have two kids morning sickness doesn't last forever, though sometime it may seem to. I would suggest you go see your doctor because no matter what i or anyone says you won't get any piece of mind until your doctor gives you the green light that everything is okay.. good luck

I am with my second child and I had morning sickness til my fifth month of pregnancy. I started out not being able to hold down my food. If you are extremly worried, call your doctor. Nothing is a silly question when you are dealing with your unborn child.
Take care and God bless

I don't know how you can consider anything to be 'regular' for you when you could have only found out you were pregnant a week or so ago.
You have a very very long way to go. You need to relax and not worry about every little thing.

Enjoy it while you can sweetie!
It's normal to get breaks in your symptoms, even though you tend to hear that the whole of pregnancy is awful!
