Have a ton of altoid tins to cover in clay and would like to start making jewelry (I'm already a beader and wireworker). Any tips, websites, stores, etc.?

well a good place to start would be to use a good quality material. i've used many and the one i like best is called FIMO.
now, i'm not sure where you might buy it locally, but being that it has been around for a while, i would bet that it is at your local craft store.

Michales and A.C.Moores have several inexpensive books that are geared towards a beginner. They will have all the information you will need.
