My roomate and I are in the military, and having trouble with the landlord getting out of our lease, even though he has orders (I dont', and they won't let me out because we don't have the same last name, even though we only signed one lease.)

The apartment manager is really strict on complaints, and will throw you out for just a couple. So we are thinking about just asking our neighbors to make a few noise complaints on us so we will get thrown out, since they are giving us so much trouble about having to relocate for military reasons.

Is this a bad idea? Can they charge you for more than a month's rent and cleaning if they evict you?

you need a lawyer... can you get legal advice from your roomates military?
did you sign the lease as a couple? you say roommate but is that platonic or sexual? if this as a couple then you should be able to get out too.. since the implication was you signed together you would leave together unless the contract stipulates each person has separate responsiblities...
if you get thrown on because of complaints that does not void your contract, your still obligated for the entire agreement.. you just have to leave.. bad idea there. they can charge your for leagal fees and the balance of the lease......
seriously consult a lawyer.

He has to honor the military clause!

Don't force an eviction, that is traceable and it will make your next apartment that much harder to rent. Ask someone from the military to contact the manager or go to the owner (look up the owner online via the street addess and the country property tax records).

Why have been you "compelled to terminate the hire"? If it replaced into for non-fee of lease, you're s.o.l on the early hire termination value simply by fact i will very nearly assure that stipulation replaced into on your hire. seems such as you lived in a professionally controlled house complicated, maximum private LL's does not try this.

Why don't you just take it to the lawyers on base? They are there to help you with this sort of thing. They can look over the papers and tell you your options. Better to check with them before trying to get yourself kicked out. Might be cheaper too.

Charging and collecting are two different matters..
They can charge you for all sorts of things but you don't have to pay
unless you agree and feel the charges are legitimate...

You really don't want an eviction on your record. Maybe you should just pay.
