According to Bush, the Gulf War left unfinished business and Bush took it personally when Saddam tried to kill his father. Polls show that most Americans regret the war so i guess the war is wasting the taxpayer's money.

The Fed and the Treasury got together and crunched the numbers and determined that not bailing out AIG would lead to the insurance company's rating being lowered, which would have cost you (people, also tax paying homeowners) much more in residual damage to the real estate market. You can't blame this on the Republicans. This would have happened no matter WHO was in the White House. This is the result of the bursting of a bubble that was many years in the making, since the late 90's. The government also bailed out Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae. Merrill Lynch was bought out. The bottom hasn't even dropped out yet. It will get worse before it gets better. The Fed is just trying to do whatever it can to keep investors investing - if they wouldn't have agreed to these bail outs the stock market could have dropped 10,000 points instead of 3,500 over the past several weeks.

Dont know if this idiotic question is even worth responding to. Last time I looked, Iraq was still there. Perhaps you could reiterate how one person I.E. Bush could destroy an entire country anyway. He would be too busy. According to you bobble-head liberal dolls, he is blowing up dikes in Louisiana, starting hurricanes, blowing up the world trade center again and again, and plotting the overthrow of emperor Pelosi.
I guess you might be right about the WMDs, if you choose to ignore all the biological artillery shells and the mobile chemical weapons labs and the tens of thousands of pages of documents which show Saddam had them. I suppose you think all those Kurds suddenly died of old age, then.
By the way, your own liberal gods were carrying on about WMDs themselves before the war got unpopular.
Now go put on your dunce cap and sit in the corner.

Bush didn't destroy Iraq. America has the power to wipe out every living man, women and child in Iraq. But we didn't. And don't pretend you care. We could, right now, wipe Iraq off the map. Much like Iran keeps promising to do to Israel, but it's okay if Israel gets attacked right? Because of the Zionist conspiracy...they're in the banks. Iraq is better off now than ever before. And at least when the USA soccer team sucks they don't get tortured. Who did that...oh right...it was Saddam. But I guess you think other than the mass killings and stuff he was a pretty cuddly guy...great leader...yeah.

He was only doing what his constants and supporters wanted.
Reds Staters are the people that destroyed Iraq and murdered all those citizens of Iraq. It is the Reds Moral Highground that is the driving force for Bush's success

Bush's oil wells in Texas dried up and went bankrupt. He needed some lucrative options in oil, and Iraq seemed like the logical choice. Right?

C'mon man!! We're liberators, the oil would pay for everything, all we had to do was show up and get rid of Sadam. The Iraqi people would take care of the rest. What...? You mean it didn't happen that way?? Rut-ro Scooby!

I love all the ignorant answers which responded with the DNC party line: "OIL"
Explain that, would you please?
The USA hasn't gotten one dime's worth of free oil from that nation. Since we liberated them from a mass-murdering dictator, gave women the right to vote, built schools, hospitals, and homeless shelters, and provided security so that people could open businesses, go to school, and live their lives, I think we DESERVE some free oil, which we never received.
That's just a poor argument for your side, which is never explained. It's paper thin and ridiculous. But people believe it.
