Hello! Could I still be pregnant if I've taken three tests and they've all come back negative? I took one a month ago, and the other two this past week. I did have a period, but it was really light last month.

The hormone that the home pregnancy test looks for can sometimes not be detected in the urine, however, this is rare. Assuming you are administering the pregnancy test correctly, I would guess that you are not pregnant and that there are other factors contributing to your irregular menstrual period.

Have you lost or gained weight recently? Have your eating habits changed, or have you been on any new medications? Consider all of these factors, because they can all affect your flow.

Also note, women's menstrual periods aren't always predictable. A woman who has always been regular may still have an occasional "off" period.

Hope this helps.

It's possible that you are preganant after taking three tests because the tests are NOT 100%. In my experience I have seen weirder things. One of my friends did not think she was pregant because she kept getting her period...It was only until she started to show did she get checked out by a doctor. She had twins and continued to get her period throughout her pregnancy. If you believe that you may be pregnant I would seek a doctors advice.

Women can have full blown periods throughout their pregnancy and still come up negative on those pee on the stick tests.
Go to your doctor and get a blood test to make sure you are not pregnant. Don't just guess at it.

I definately reccommend that you go to a Gynochologist doctor for and vaginal internal examination , pap smear, and pregnancy test.
that is the best thing for you to do to know for certain.
and yes a blood test is more accurate than a urine test for pregnancy testing. but only a doctor can give order for bloodwork to be done.
and internal exam by a gynochologist will also show signs , which will then prompt the doctor to know if further testing for pregnancy is necessary.
Good Luck.

Yes you can. The best thing for you to do is get a blood test. Then again you could be going through a change in your body.

If you got your period & 3 tests have been negative. Why do you still think you're pregnant? Unless you're having symptoms, I would stop worrying.

you could if the fetus is not alive, and sometimes when the fetus is alive. however, i truly feel you are not. if this is what you really don't want, you should start using protection. you would not believed what's is out there. if any young lady out there and not using protection with their boyfriend, you really should and with any person they have sex with. young people , what's out there is no joke. get your information from your local health unit. better yet, ask to talk to some one, be informed. it's your body, if you don't take care of it, do you think some boyfriend will care, no. all he cares about is sex, and at the same time he can like you very much. but think with his pennies. go to the doctor but talk to your mom frist.

if you took three pregancy test and they were NEGATIVE -vs FAINT LINES (indecisive test) that your not pregnant! seems as if you may want to be pregnant , so as hard as it may be (i know the feeling :-) ) try not taking pregnany test or even considering them untill you really miss a period b/c thats how you will know!...
p.s and plus-----it's really heart breaking when they come out negative.................GOOD LUCK!!!!
