Einstein said it. After theend of WW2, he was a leading figure in the World Government Movement and continued to work for peace and world order, campaigning for the abolition of all nuclear weapons. When asked about the further development of weapons serving in future global wars, Einstein responded, “I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”

Yes, I've heard that credited to Einstein - though I've also read that he never said it.
