advertisers are not allowed to use red fluids to demonstrate feminine hygiene products. No idea why, other than Mr Angry of Putney might be offended by such realism....

Pale Rider, I feel your pain. This has bothered me for years. I remember having to tell my son that I don't have blue fluid inside me!!! C'mon they need to use red for this, and yellow for diapers. Whatever happened to truth in advertising? ... yeah, right.....

If they used red, that would be a little crude. Blue is easy to see, and it gets the point across.

Because if they used red, it would be too realistic for the men to see what we women really go through every month.

red is obviously more realistic and i think that is the problem. People can't handle it. society would go crazy. i can see it now..."they made it look like blood on the pad!!! lets ban them form our store!!"
