Louis died on January 6, 1852. THe cause of death is listed as ill health. He was 42 yrs old. The link I provided will give you a good albeit short bio of the man. Interesting reading.

He had always been plagued by ill health, and he died in Paris of tuberculosis in 1852 at the age of 43; his body was disinterred in 1952 (the centenary of his death) and honored with re-interrment in the Panthéon in Paris.
