My friend got her lip pierced. It stings, but not as bad as any other piercing.
Just remember, get it pierced by a professional! I had a friend try and do her girlfriends lip. She had to go to the hospital because she cut into a nerve in her lip that could have cost her life.
So...just be careful! :-) Good luck

Yea there is probably some type of discomfort to it. It all depends on your tolerance for pain. I have my eyebrow and tongue pierced and neither hurt at all, which is really wierd cuz im a big crybaby who cant stand pain at all!

oh yeahhh
when i got my belly button pierced it hurt like hell...
imagine that on ur face1!!
plus there's the fact that it could get infected and swollen,... and even if it doesnt there'll pus for a while...
when i got my piercing i couldnt eat fish, pork, anything fried, CHOCOLATE for 2 months!!!
well, the other things i could handle but i just couldnt give up the chocolate!!!!!
