Hey, This is what I did when I used to use Bare Minerals: If you want to cover little imperfections first I use the concealer brush and dab a little of the Multitasking Minerals over small spots. Then use the Kabuki brush in swirls over the face with the usual mineral foundation for evening out the complexion and buffing a nice finish. Then spot treat once more to blend. Finally use the Flawless Application brush to apply Mineral Veil or a light bronzer swept over the face. Hope that helps!

I like the tapered one to apply overall foundation.

BUT, I happen to LOVE my Kabuki brush. I've since stopped using B.E. but I use the kabuki brush to apply blush and I just love it. I would totally get a new one.

I use the tapered brush, but it is really just a question of technique.
